CBC Radio’s Laugh Out Loud: Live Recording The Okanagan Comedy Festival is proud to present this radio recording of CBC’s Laugh out Loud. Laugh Out Loud (LOL) is CBC Radio’s hit stand-up comedy show hosted by Ali Hassan (guest host on Q and host of Canada Reads). This live recording show will present some of the best of Canadian comedy. The goal of this show is to make more Canadians laugh out loud whenever they want — live, on radio, on-line, and on CBC podcast service.

Kate Belton
Kate Belton is a standup comedian living in Kelowna, BC She’s known for her sweet and silly stage presence. She produces an aptly named monthly comedy show called “Silly Sally” which sells out every month at Bernie’s in Kelowna. She loves animals, hates uncomfortable clothing, and still can’t afford to get her lashes done but hopefully next year it’ll happen!
Kate has had the pleasure of sharing the stage with comedy greats including Nikki Payne, Jon Dore, and Ali Hassan. In 2022 Kate was selected to record a set for the CBC LOL podcast and got A BUNCH of weird LinkedIn messages from dudes when it aired on the radio! Who uses LinkedIn!?
